The Ghanaian Association of South Australia (GASA) has been in existence since 2004 under the motto "Baako Ntena". The motto is derived from the Twi language in Ghana which literally means "one does not live or exist alone".
A growing population of Ghanaians in Adelaide has enabled the organization to grow steadily and association members in the community have rallied to celebrate important occasions such as Ghana's 50th Anniversary. The Association has thrived and developed a good reputation among the African communities in Adelaide.
